5-Hydroxytryptophan, extracted from seeds of the griffonia plant, is a precursor for making serotonin in the human body.* Maintaining healthy levels of serotonin is important because low levels are associated with symptoms of low mood, feelings of anxiety, overweight and overeating, carbohydrate craving, and occasional sleeplessness.* Available in two doses: 50 mg or 100 mg per capsule.

Recommended Dosage:

5765 — 33 to 300 mg per day on an empty stomach, generally best to take at bedtime.
